Theformula for the nth term of a geometric sequence is: an = a1 * r^ (n-1) Where a1 is the first term of the sequence and n is the position of the term in the sequence. We multiply the current term by the common ratio to find the next number in a geometric sequence. For example, in sequences 2, 6, 18, and 54, the common ratio is 3.
TheTriangular Number Sequence is generated from a pattern of dots which form a triangle: By adding another row of dots and counting all the dots we can find the next number of
32= 5. 5+2= 7. 7+2= 9. 9+2= 11. Thus, every successive number is formed by adding 2 to the previous number. ∴ The next number can be obtained by adding 2 to the last given number, which is 11. ∴ Next number = 11 + 2 = 13. Suggest Corrections.
