I use this as a run around car and ive lived with this problem for ages, but i want to get to the bottom of it, let me explain. Apparently Citroen fitted rear torsion bars which were sub standard and therefore were originally replaced free of charge as they came to light. My Citroen C4 Grand Picasso failed its MOT on "handbrake hold". Investigation by the dealer showed a complete failure of cables and motor costing £1000 to replace and repair. I noted two recalls in the past for electronic handbrake hold issues but my car is not on the list. Its a Jan 2008 model with 80,000 miles.

I've got Lexia/Diagbox 7.82 and it came up with a low voltage problem with a sensor so I may have found the problem.
